Their journey took them to the Middle East, where they worked as lawyers in Qatar. However, they soon realized that life in Qatar lacked permanence. Their stay was tied to their employers, and long-term stability felt out of reach. Determined to find a place where they could truly build a future, they explored opportunities in Australia and Canada.

That’s when they discovered New Zealand, a country that not only welcomed international talent but also offered domestic tuition rates for PhD students. Seizing this chance, they moved to New Zealand in 2019.
